Reshade 4's simple and performance-friendly presets should work with vanilla and/or any lighting or weather model
This was my first re-shading. Let me know what you think....Made and intended for use with Reshade 4
Tested with Moon's Atmospheric Lighting Mod, Witcher 3 Re:Mod Beta and PLM 8.0 but it should work with any lighting/weather mod or vanilla. Implement modified horizontal lighting, clarity, modified Gaussian blur and modified subtle vibrations.
Effect: Slightly reduces subtle hazy white noise, giving games a clearer, more realistic look and more realistic ambient light contrast.
A significant enhancement over vanilla, but slightly less dramatic fantasy with a touch or realism stirred in. 1. ) Install Reshade 4
2.) Download technologies Vibrance, GaussianBlur, Clarity, SMAA, DPX and Levels during Reshade 4 installation
3.) Extract the mod archive directly to \Witcher 3\bin\x64 and replace when asked.
4.) Press HOME in game and enable SoulSpectrum preset
5.) Vibrance, GaussianBlur, Clarity and Levels are enabled by default, SMAA is disabled.
6.) If you wish, press the HOME key to bring up the menu and enable or disable the trick; the most performance-friendly preset is to disable Gaussian Blur and Clarity. The most important thing for performance is to enable SMAA.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
