Compatible with:
Ghost Mode (best balanced mode for me, very immersive, no game mechanics changed)
The Witcher 3 Enhanced Edition
There may be other models.
Intentionally only used certain times, like a few times when you're trying to defeat an enemy, that's why I made it only available through the main menu (no save game loading).
Select via the nickname menu:
Off: No effect on the game
Immortality: Use immortality skills instead of death.
Second Life: Use Second Life mutations instead of death.
Credit goes to jgheld for his god mode mod and his documentation pointed me in the right direction.
Install:
Install using NMM or manually -> Note:
Both methods require additional steps to make the nickname menu work:
Go to: Mods folder "/Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/Mods/modxTc_Second_Life" and
Copy the bin folder to the Witcher 3 folder "/Witcher 3Wild Hunt"
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
