About this mod Machine translation

Added a new master armor set.

This mod adds a new set of Grandmaster gear: Raven's Armor. It is translated into English and German and supports NG+.

Raven lived in a time when wizards were revered and praised as defenders of the weak. Confrontations with humans are not common for wizards, which is why this armor relies heavily on resistance against monsters.

To add a bit of personality to the armor - like all other wizards - specific playstyles are supported. Its purpose is to improve Axii, which in my opinion has too little love for vanilla games.

Note: I know someone has added Raven's Armor from "The Witcher 2", but I never liked the way it looked in the game and always thought it looked different than the one from the first game.

This version of Raven's Armor looks closer to the one from the first game, although there are differences. Like in the first game, every

The craftsmen all add their own touches to the armor, and this one also has a unique flaw.

  • How to install/uninstall:

Installation: Unzip raven_armor.rar and copy all contents to your Witcher 3 home folder. If you have other mods installed, run Script Merger to resolve possible conflicts. Without this step, setting bonuses may be ineffective.

To uninstall, simply delete the dlc__raven_armor folder in the DLC folder and the modRaven_armor folder in the mods folder.

3.How to get:

The schematics required to make the complete set can be purchased from Lazare Lafargue (Grandmaster Armorer).

Most of the crafting components needed can be found in Toussaint. The special ore required for the chest piece can be obtained from

Purchased by Dulla kh'Amanni (Ofieri merchant).

  • Notes and tips:

Note that you cannot change the color of this armor. Using dye won't change the look at all and waste your precious dye.

Raven's armor set bonus improves Axii's effectiveness (primarily as an alternative to token mode). Therefore it is related to

Axii Glyphes and Glyphword Posession have great synergy.

If you plan to play the Axii version I recommend this fix to be able to equip both "Delusion" and "Puppet":

Try this: Simple workaround (I haven't tested if this actually works)

If this doesn't work, do this: Fix (this worked - I tested it).

  • Debug console command:

If you have the debug console enabled, you can add items directly to the manifest by opening and typing: additem("itemID"), for example: additem("Raven Armor")

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
