About this mod Machine translation
A small tool that allows you to change the tag of an item (e.g. remove the 'Quest' tag)
This simple tool allows you to list, add and remove tags for individual items. For example, you can remove a project's "Quest" tag, which allows you to store it in storage or save it in New Game Plus. Even after removing the mod, the changes made by this mod remain. Currently, many tags cannot be changed as invalid tags are removed when saving the game. The only real use now is to remove quest markers.
To use the mod, you must select the item you want to modify in the manifest and enter one of the following commands in the console.
Order:
listTags
addTag(<tag>)
removeTag(<tag>)
Note: It is a rare bug that weapons disappear when certain tags are changed. They will appear again after saving and reloading the save game. Regardless, before continuing with the game you should check that all items you modified still exist.
Install:
Unzip the files in the "mods" folder (create one if it doesn't exist) in your main game directory of Witcher 3 or use a mod manager. Use Script Merge to resolve script issues.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
