I found that the risk of sending an arrow back to an attacker, while fun and rewarding at low levels, simply wasn't worth the risk at high levels, making the skill significantly less useful and less fun to use.
So I made this mod to exponentially increase the damage done by reflected arrows, about 30x.
In most cases the reflected arrow should be single shot but its victim, but some higher level harder targets will sometimes survive an arrow.
To install, simply unzip the mod into the "Mods" folder
Made from files for version 1.22 but I'm pretty sure it will work with any version, this is my first mod so I'm not super knowledgeable but I will point out that I've played with the mod for many hours and haven't encountered any bugs. The mod only edits a very specific value in the arrowProjectile.ws file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
