About this mod Machine translation
Really natural and bright Mediterranean Toussaint (or Southern France/Northern Italy).
The amount of detail that went into creating the Toussaint Mediterranean area is surprising. The scenery is gorgeous and far from pure fantasy, giving it a real southern European feel in the hot summer months. Yellow is unstoppable, though. This was my attempt to remove the yellow filter and deep yellow saturation, which has permeated every aspect of the map's lighting. For this reason, one of the pre-requirements for this remodel was Clear Lighting Toussaint.
The preset is only available for Toussaint.
As a personal recommendation, consider turning on the ambient light during sunset (default key: Delete), and if you find the moody happy color schematic a bit overwhelming, turn off the Vibrances shader (default key: F3).
Install
- Download Reshade 3.4.1 and install it, saying "yes" to the following effects:
ambient light

boundary
FilmGrain2
FilmicPass
FXAA
Gaussian blur
level
LiftGammaGain
Color printing method

- Forward files from download.
- Install all files in the mod folder into the Witcher3.exe folder, overwriting any recolor shaders when prompted.
(Important: If, only IF, you have a shader named fakeHDR in your shader folder (e.g. when not doing a clean install of Reshade) - delete it. You should only have 1 HDR shader in your shader folder, or you'll end up with a super dark reshade once you decide to turn it on.)
- In-game, open the reset menu via 'Shift + F2'.
- Select the "Toussaint" preset and view the keybindings. You can change the keybindings if you wish.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
