About this mod Machine translation

Remove food, trash, weapons and armor from loot and chests. Select what you want to delete.

Remove food, trash, weapons and armor from loot and containers. Select what you want to delete.

Still not fully tested, but more of a concept than a working model. It should be safe for mission items.

The mod will not remove any items when you loot a quest-related container. Quest items can be found even outside quest-related containers, but mods should not remove them anyway.

Use at your own risk. If you find any bugs or have suggestions, please let me know.

How to customize:

-Open the file and search for "//edit settings here"

-Follow instructions

Console command:

-hidebash (open the mod, the mod is opened by default when the game starts)

  • Show garbage (turn off mod)

To do:

Take everything from the villagers' houses, even the alchemy ingredients.

-Testing the mod more (currently in progress).

  • Remove all food and useless junk from the game.
  • Combine ingredients and few remaining "other" items in one tab.
  • Added gems (very rare but available from some merchants).

-Restore small amounts of weapons and arsenal to specific containers in appropriate locations.

Why:

Geralt is not a scrap dealer or a thief. He didn't break into the villagers' homes and steal their food.

He didn’t collect animal skins or bottled water. He did not take everything he saw around him, but later sold it to a merchant.

I also find it hard to believe that he could have found thousands of swords and pieces of armor on his journey out of there, just for him to pick from.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
