About this mod Machine translation
This is a continuation project of Mpstark's "No Vanilla Logging" Mod.
This is a continuation project of Mpstark's "No Vanilla Logging" Mod. The original idea came from him, so all points belong to him. I just updated it for GOTY version 1.31 so that all scripts are consistent with version 1.31. Non-GOTY users please try unified patch 1.31 and 1.31 GOTY game version by wghost81. Description: This is primarily a modder resource for those who just want to display their mod logs in scriptslog.txt. The reason I tackled this bad boy was because of rmemr's real-time in-game environment parameters UI Mod.
It's able to write changed environment values to scriptlog.txt, but the dump of all the logs you get during gameplay makes it hard to find what you're looking for.
Small side note: some entries will still pop up, but no big deal, if you find spam let me know and I'll try to hunt it down.
Install:
Extract the 'modNoDevLogging' folder to the %GAMEDIR%/mods directory.
Since a large number of files have been changed, use AnotherSymbiote's ScriptMerger to ensure there aren't any conflicts. Only the LogChannel entry is commented out, nothing else.
Create a shortcut to witcher3.exe on your desktop and add -debugscripts to the end of it.
For example:
%GAMEDIR%\ bin \ x64 \ witcher3.exe -debugscripts
More information on this topic can be found here.
uninstall:
Delete the modNoDevLogging folder from the %GAMEDIR%/mods directory and remove the -debugscripts parameter.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
