Better experience curve updates

This is Doliani's update to the original mod.

Depending on your play style, there are 4 different settings to choose from. The cat represents the fast level, the griffon represents the fast level, the bear represents the slow level, and finally the wolf represents the slow level.

feature:

Cat: By the end of the game, you'll most likely be in your 60s. The purpose of this setup is to let you use higher level items with more bonus points so that you can focus on two skill trees at the same time (for example, a combat-alchemy combo) rather than being forced to play in a single style of play.

Griffin: This setting is very close to the default, so why does it exist? It provides a smoother curve and slightly reduces the XP required for each level, so you'll be able to progress slightly easier while leveling, and also be able to access slightly more levels. Think of this as an enhanced default setting.

Ursine: Levels slightly slower than default, which is often a problem for people who think they level too fast early in the game. Towards the end of the game, going beyond the main questline hinders the experience and provides little to no challenge. I believe this setup eliminates the problem somewhat, although it still depends on how you play the game.

Wolf: If you are a hardcore completionist type of player, this setting is great for you. Looking for the ultimate challenge on the highest difficulty? Do you prefer completing all possible quests rather than rushing through the main questline? Do you still want to enjoy the game without getting too powerful because you did side quests to get to such a high level? Well, honestly, the wolf is for you. When you're done with everything, you should be around level 50.

Install:

Choose just one curve! You can easily use the Mod Manager, but if for some reason you need to install manually, just extract the contents of the rar file into the Witcher 3/Mods folder. This mod only works with new games! If you create a new game save file after a fresh start or DLC from the main menu, then the mod will still be in effect. This is because the geralt_levelups.xml file is only checked when a new game is created, after which this file is completely useless as the game no longer needs it until you launch another new game. It's worth playing a new game, right?

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
