About this mod Machine translation
Now you can dress Triss up in a fancier masquerade dress, or change her default outfir or her DLC outfit.
Triss will always wear her masquerade dress. When the weather is particularly warm... Version B could provide a viable option for those who find her DLC dress a bit overbearing and threatening... xD
There are now 2 versions:
A) TrissAlwaysMasqueDress = Triss wears a masquerade dress instead of the vanilla costume
B) TrissDLCAlwaysMasqueDress = Triss wears a masquerade outfit instead of the DLC outfit plus her unique earrings.
Other changes:
- Eliminate the hood entirely.
- Triss will also be wearing a masquerade costume in Toussaint.
- Gold diamond necklace is permanent.
FAQ
- Why make a new mod when there's already one that does the same thing?
- Because mine is better lol. It covers all areas where Triss appears and all its instances. There are also legs. This was a request from a friendly guy and since I was surprised that such an old mod had this problem, I decided to do something about it.
- If you notice anything unusual, please notify me.
- You can meet Triss during regular gameplay/missions wearing her new outfit, or spawn her with any console command of your choice.
- The mod will not work if you enable her DLC appearance in the game menu. Obviously...
- You can use any of Triss' transformations/modifications as long as they don't affect the clothes she wears!
- There is another Triss mod over there that changes her hairstyle, hair color and a few other things. If you want Triss to look like the picture, read the mod's description carefully, use compatible files (if needed) and you should be fine. Even if you prefer her vanilla DLC hairstyle, don't force yourself to put up with the buggy iteration of it, be sure to get the fixed version I made with her DLC hairstyle that eliminates most of the cropping issues.
- Hats off to Scoutbr0 for helping me start this!!! Check out his incredible mods!
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
