About this mod Machine translation
A combination of free combat and new game enhancements:
On the one hand you can start a new game using New Game + Save.
It is also possible to start a New Game+ using a New Game+ save (i.e. stacking New Game+). Thanks Enpror for the confirmation :)
(The console command ngpcstandardinit may not be suitable for this purpose, but ngpcustominit and ngpcustominitreetdiagrams should be.)
Additionally, it can:
-Increase the player level limit
- Scale enemies/Craft schematics/Quests (recommended levels)/New equipment
-Disable device level requirement
-Leveling device with player
- Added a damage limiter
- Added a damage handling limiter
-Increase merchant funds.
On the other hand, it increases combat effectiveness:
-Combat stance in normal games does not allow running, only sprinting, which requires endurance. Mod adds combat stance with running enabled and normal stance (all of which are optional mid-combat). This setup is called enemy strafing, and its options include:
- On, running disorder - normal game behavior, Geralt's fighting stance and inability to run;
- Open, Run Enabled - Geralt Battle Stance and ready to run;
three. Non-Geralt fights in his normal stance (i.e. outside of combat) and can run away.
-Supports jumping (can be switched during battle).
-Enable looting (can be toggled mid-battle, albeit with a delay).
- Allows setting enemy levels to be a desired amount below/equal to/above the player level (can also be randomized).
- Added a combat animation speed multiplier (range: from normal to twice the speed).
- Added a chance-controlled multiplier for damage dealt to enemies that are too weak/strong, independent of game difficulty (adjustable mid-fight, range: from half to double damage).
-Added a chance-controlled damage multiplier for weak/strong enemies, independent of game difficulty (adjustable mid-fight, range: from half to double damage).
-Allows setting the chance of weapon degradation (100% without mods, 0% weapon will not degrade).
-Allows setting chance of armor degradation (100% without mods, 0% armor will not degrade).
-Can speed up, slow down or pause the game.
-Just for fun: Feel free to taunt your enemies.
How to install?
- Extract the archive file to the switcher 3 main folder.
- Add the following keybindings to the [combat] section of c:\users\[user]\documents\the switcher 3\input.settings:
IK_8=(Action=ToggleEnemyStrafing) - cycles through all three Enemy strafing options
IK_D=(Action=ToggleEnemyStrafingCombat) - only toggles between Enemy strafing with and without running (the combat stances)
IK_Q=(Action=ToggleJumping)
IK_W=(Action=ToggleLooting)
IK_Space=(Action=CbtJump)
IK_A=(Action=CbtTaunt)
IK_9=(Action=Speedup)
IK_0=(Action=Slowdown)
IK_P=(Action=Pause)
IK_NumPad4=(Action=DecDamageTakenMultiplier)
IK_NumPad5=(Action=IncDamageTakenMultiplier)
IK_NumPad7=(Action=DecDamageDealtMultiplier)
IK_NumPad8=(Action=IncDamageDealtMultiplier)
If you wish, replace them with other keys. You don't have to add them all, just the ones you plan to use.
Also added them under [Combat Replacers] for ciri:.
If using NMM, you still need to manually copy modnewgamepluscombat.xml to [witcher 3 home folder]\bin\config\r4game\user\u config_matrix\pc.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
