Performance: Expect around 5 - 12 fps loss depending on region. You can disable anti-aliasing effects (FXAA, SMAA) as they have a greater impact on performance, especially if you prefer to use anti-digital anti-aliasing or a graphics driver.
Install
Download and install Lullaby Lighting Mod to achieve the desired effect (you can try with other or no weather model, but I can't guarantee it will look like the screenshot, but you can give it a try)

Run Reset and follow the instructions. You can download all effects, but my file contains all the effects used in the preset.
Download the file in the Files section.
Unzip the contents of the 7z file in the main Witcher 3 directory of the x64 folder (where witcher3.exe is located).
Load the game and press Shift + f2 (by default) to open the Regroup menu.
Follow the instructions in the menu and select Natural Toussaint Lighting Reshade.ini. If you want to change values or add effects, I recommend using "Performance Mode" in Game, Configuration Mode.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
