About this mod Machine translation

Bear (Bear) Steel and Silver Swords Base Damage 5000 and New Model

General information

This mod changes the properties and model of the Ursin (Bear) wizard steel and silver lvl1 sword. Consider it a cheat mode as it sets the base damage of both swords to 5000. This will change (or even ruin) your gaming experience. Well, love it or loathe it - I did it myself because I couldn't kill this faceless guy from Hoth University. Lame, I know.

So you don't forget you're playing Super Damage Mode, two detailed (but terrible) sword models have been submitted to replace the original meshes

(Codename "Hansel and Gretel 5000").

Created with newer W3 ModKit (1.1). Tested with W3 version 1.11, installed HoS, and completed the storyline.

usage

You need to have an exquisite lvl1 Uracil (Bear) Steel and a lvl1 Uracil Silver Sword in your inventory before activating the module. After installing the mod, the two swords will have new attributes and meshes. To be correct: you can also try to craft those when the mod is already active - but the calculated price is quite high. As for me, I went to the Hatori blacksmith in Neuvegler, had him do the work, and started the mod.

Install

To install, unzip the folder and place it in the "...Witcher 3mods" directory.

Version information

1.0 initial version

1.1 Added modified xml file for Game+ mode. However, still not sure if it works correctly in Game+ (see text below).

Use in Game+ mode

While the enhanced sword attributes worked for me in the normal game, converting these swords to Game+ did not. Damage values dropped to normal (even though the xml from gameplay._. changed). Maybe you need to have the blueprint first and then play Game+. uncertain. Thanks for any comments about your experience using this plugin in Game+. Thanks.

In def_item_crafting_..xml, I added the following lines to the Bear School./Silver knife definition:

<SlashingDamage type="add"min="5000"/>[Steel Sword]

<Silver Sword Damage Type="add"min="5000"/>[Silver Sword]

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
