About this mod Machine translation
An overhaul mode that removes the linearity of the game.
Mod requires big DLC + crossbow + wolf_set
Also: Mod42_Swords only has sword models (replacing cat/bear/griffin) and assets with the scabbard removed. Not compatible with mods that change the stats of crafted weapons. Unequip b4 installation
Remove the linearity of the game by equalizing opponent_power/items_skills.
This also removes most of Geralt's power curve, and one can fight everything and everyone with the starting set and nothing else.
On top of that, some anime swords were added because, why not? Demo here: https:
//youtu.be/FpJ0IzT4kJk Things to note: (1) Anime Sword, Dragon Claw, Harpy and First Silver Sword - do both normal and silver damage. As a rule of thumb, steel is better for humans, silver remains the same for monsters (the tool tip of a silver sword represents less normal damage).
(2) Progressive dependency removed from most wizard stuff (except oils), all levels of potions and bombs have the same effect (albeit with some description), and can only be used with one recipe level.
(3) Novigrad's bookstore sells all monster deck cards, don't buy more than 1 or it may ruin some missions! Otherwise duplicate gains should be fine, it's up to you to use them or not.
(4) The skill layer has been removed, and the lock on the right is just a visual illusion.
important:
(a) The mod is unlikely to be compatible with most other mods
(b) Not recommended for use with existing storage -file
(c) The mod is not intended to be used with NG+ and will most likely break it
(d) Mod requires big DLC + crossbow + wolf_set

Detailed description (more or less)
Gwent:
-Monster cards now allow duplicates (1 per card), and the full set of live cards can be purchased from the bookstore in Novigrad. WARNING: Purchasing more than 1 at a time may result in mission failure!
shop:
-Runewrite is making stuff for free because of how much money he has Geralt. Side effect: new runes/fighting are cheap as dirt
Model: -
Animated sword model suitable for Bear/Cat/Griffin Steel/Silver Sword Basic/Enhanced/Premium
Production: -
Except for oil, all other production dependencies are removed.
- Gears of any level can be crafted without any previous level.
- For bombs and potions, this means that once a basic/enhanced/advanced version is crafted, the other one will disappear from the crafting list. This has no practical effect as all levels have the same benefits with the same stats. Side Effects: Some descriptions are incorrect as they still correspond to lower levels, while the actual effect is the highest level upgrade.
Combat/Balance: -
Every enemy (mb very few) is set to level 42
-Geralt will start at level 1 but will quickly reach 35, and then progress will be very slow. In reality he shouldn't be above level 42, nor can he reach level 42.
- When reaching level 35, Geralt gains more skill points than in the base game. One must use them with caution as they are barely enough for a semi-complete build with most mutations unlocked. Additional skill points will be earned primarily through exploration, as Geralt will not progress further.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
