Reimagining the 2014 werewolf model
Have you seen the E3 2014 gaming trailers? That horrific battle between Geralt and the werewolves in the forest? If not, here's your chance:
Werewolf battle
The purpose of this mod is to restore the model seen in this demo based on the files that still exist in the game: E3 model when the werewolf was cut in half
I know: this massive model appears when the werewolf goes into rage mode, but I can't bring it back now. This model is permanent.
What this model does:
Now, all werewolf models (except Ulf Haddin) have been reshaped and share the same model. The textures for each werewolf type have been reworked to make them more unique.
Textures now have a higher resolution and the skin is very unique in an attempt to stick to what we've seen on some wallpapers and early concepts.
To get as close to the E3 demo as possible, I removed the fur and trim on the model. Cool though: when the werewolf goes into rage/rage mode, the fur grows back. Now all in one file :)
Alternate: You can choose between angry and pre-furry (slim) versions and non-fur and fur (slim).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
