A mod that primarily changes the Demel armor from light brown/blue to dark brown/grey. Includes matching textures to Demelma equipment.

Install:
Extract the contents of the .RAR file into the "Mods" folder in the Witcher 3 installation directory (create the "Mods" folder if it does not exist).
Options: Go to the Witcher 3 Documents folder (the default is "DocumentsThe Witcher 3", the same folder where your input.settings and user.settings files are located), create the mods.settings file (create a text file called mods.settings, remove the .txt extension, and confirm the changed file type), edit the file and add the following line:
[modMercArmorSet]
Enabled=1
Priority=1
Replace "modMercArmorSet" with the name of whatever version of the mod you have installed.
Note: I also highly recommend SoloCreep's See Your Trophy-Horse camera mod, which allows you to actually see the entire setup when installed.
Disabled:
Open the "mods.settings" file with a note editor (I recommend using Notepad++), find the mod/version you want to disable, and set "Enabled" to 1-0.
uninstall:
Delete the "modMercArmorSet" folder (or whatever other version you are using) from the "Mods" directory (you can also delete the entry in the "mods.settings" file).
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
