About this mod Machine translation

A focus of the mode is to implement a harder life for the wild hunting phase of the war, and to some extent mimic lore realism.

In short, you have to be a bit financially challenged, which is almost entirely lacking in vanilla.

The mode also shows that Geralt doesn't start with bad gear and is a newbie, as vanilla almost suggested at level 1.

I personally use a bunch of mods to give Geralt (midway) believable abilities (see well below 'recommended mods').

Of course, we play RPGs, so the process of going from low to high is simply inevitable.

This attribute isn't always a plausible one to players, especially who knows the books, and is also who plays W1 and W2, and knows the storyline, Geralt would be a super amazingly skilled wizard, almost unrivaled except for certain magicians (remember Vilgefortz in the books).

However, this is an RPG game. But mods can do a little bit for some lore-realism and game immersion.

Games with LFT mode mainly offer three things:

First, regarding the traditional friendly design of items and the economy, which means an additional challenge to the game.

Second, the landing gear's attributes reflect the Wizard's equipment (light armor class and design), while Geralt starts with slightly better equipment (quality), so the starting combat challenge is slightly reduced and reflects the lore.

Third, kill realism and generally increase realism and challenge to gameplay, but also simplify things a bit with better believability in mind.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
