Update 0.6 added a separate module in the Miscellaneous section. This model replaces the vanilla aviation mesh by a reshaped mesh from the Silver Sword of the Legendary Sword. Now Aerondight isn't that big anymore. The mod adds a sword called Longclaw to the game. This sword is basically a steel version of the vanilla Aerondight, with the same appearance, the same stats, and the same abilities. When you increase your charge in combat, the blade will have the same glowing effect. See installation below.

_This mod adds a new set of swords to the game. This set of footage looks like it came from Line 3, along with a trailer for the game.
In the game, the steel sword is called Mogilin and the silver sword is called Aerondight, but there are also stand-alone swords instead of heavy metal swords.
They have the same properties of blood and wine as the Vampire Sword, as well as 3 slots for runes or magic.
This set comes with custom sheaths (update 0.2): original, black or corresponding wizard school. You can view scabbard in the pictures section and select the corresponding file in the download section. Details in the installation below.
Update 0.3 adds a standalone mod that replaces the wizard's sheath which you can see in the "original sheath". More details on the installation below.
In UPDATE 0.5, an options file enables the Blood and Wine hovercraft to use both silver and steel legendary swords (so the Blood and Wine dlc is required for this template). Details in the installation below.
Install
Do not use mod managers with this module. The Mod Manager or Wither3 Mod Manager will tell you it's installed, but it won't install and you won't be able to find the sword in the game.
This module was tested on GOTY GOG version 1.31 of the game.
main part
This is the core of the mod. Several files in this section match the scabbard you want. View images to select your scabbard and download one and only one archive.
Extract this archive into the DLC folder. The mod will not work if installed in the MOD folder.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
