You haven't downloaded this mod yet This tweak correctly activates the hud console readout, which flashes very briefly during combat and displays various information
This mod activates and makes available the built-in hud console readout, designed to display real-time text-based information about events happening in the world. In the vanilla game, it flashes for less than a second, displays a few lines of messages, and disappears too quickly to be usable.
no longer.
Readouts now display 10 lines of data in the stream for 5 seconds, which gives players enough time to analyze what's going on.
In the vanilla game, the amount of information displayed is rather limited, but where this tweak really shines is by giving mods the information they need to display their own live telemetry data on the screen. An added bonus is that it's flexible and easy to use!
Two of the key uses are:
1 - Provide players with real-time, dynamic and detailed information about what is happening at any point in time during the game.
2 - Tools for providing on-screen feedback for debugging - I can't stress how handy this is for coders. One of my personal problems is trying to make "blind" adjustments to what's actually going on.
Install
=====================================
Select and download the required package from the Files tab
Open the .rar file and find the folder starting with 'mod' (lowercase)
Copy this folder to the "mods" directory in the Witcher 3 root folder
I uploaded 2 components:
modActivatedConsoleReadout
This is the core model. This will "activate" the HUD console readout so that players and users can actually see the information displayed by the game. This information is primarily combat-related, but it will still allow anyone to use the correct functionality required for console readouts.

Okay, so I want to show you something that can be used to read out. So I did some digging and enabled game logging which CDPR already implemented, but I redirected the telemetry output to the fighter console readings. Now, I know this is complete overkill, and you will be completely bombarded with readouts detailing every step and calculation the game is going through when performing combat calculations. But I think this is a demo for the simulator to show what can be done. So it shouldn't be functional.
However, the data junkie in me really enjoys this kind of thing, so I might consider making a version that tweaks the details a bit if people want it.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
