About this mod Machine translation
A comprehensive rebalancing of Gwent.
puffybiscts has a fix for this here:
Obviously, I haven't been back to this mod in a long time. The original source code is available here if anyone else needs it, I don't care if you use anything from it:
Replace all combat with Ggot. Works with existing saves and should yield the same experience and loot as not killing enemies, allowing for plugged-in installs/uninstalls. Has basic scaling. The campaign should be fully operational.
Install
Use a mod manager or unzip the file to "Witcher 3 Wild Hunt mods".
Vision
Allows Geralt to build his starting deck entirely through combat until he becomes the card owner.
Changle Pavilion
0.2 - Added basic scaling system and better identification of enemies. The deck will adjust slightly based on the game difficulty chosen, so be aware of that. The campaign should be fully operational.
0.1 - Ghost gameplay is triggered by enemies or players taking damage. Enemy decks are completely random. Upon victory, all enemies within 30 units are killed. When losing, the player dies.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
