Gwent improvements only work on the hardest difficulty and provide more fun in Gwent gameplay
Improvements to Gwent are made only on the hardest difficulty and provide more fun in Gwent games, especially for players who are tired of weak artificial intelligence, even on the hardest difficulty.
It also has all the unused textures that CDPR put into the game files, but for some unknown reason they didn't make it into the final game.
More specifically, what exactly does this mod do (this mod is recommended for the most difficult problems, as far as I'm concerned):
You now have a better AI against Gwent. Especially mission-related opponents and tournaments are now more interesting and difficult to deal with. But at the same time merchants are being tuned to become better players. Of course, they're not OP, as that would make collecting cards in a new store game frustrating.
The second thing this mod brings to you, I would first like to thank the talented modder coffez who made it possible to add the second thing to this mod. This is the restored and unused texture. You can see them on the Nilfgaard and NorthernRealms platforms, such as Blue Stripes Commando.
Additionally, a new (non-corrupted) BIRNA card texture and DLC REGIS card texture (for conversion results of normal REGIS cards) are included.
This mod not only tweaks the AI, it also provides a fix considering that some Gwent players are playing with some duplicate cards that shouldn't be there. For example, at the beginning, Aldert played Puttkammer twice in White Orchard Geert, but this card was determined to exist only as one card.
The two main files: Thanks again to coffez, all versions have removed an infantry card from Northern Kingdoms. In vanilla, there are 4 cards, and they all use the same texture - boring. Restored textures are now available in three different textures. That is, a card still has a repeating texture. With this model, there are only three infantry cards left in the game, each with its own texture. This is also fine for Gwent's book Ingme, as the book only counts different cards, not how many identical cards are in Geralt's deck.
First major file - take a closer look: This version has the AI tweaked - but in this case, it's tweaked for the card changes I made. Of course, these changes are also in this model. If there are no bugs in version 2.3, you should consider it the final version of this mod.
All changes to cards (skills/abilities and scores) are as follows (only the first master file, of course):

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
