This is my other saddle MOD, flame MOD
The "Devil's Saddle" doesn't strike me as devilish...it looks more like...dead rotten rags. I was experimenting and experimenting, and something happened. Completely by accident, I also came across a suitable solution to the "only one eye working" issue in the vanilla game, which was to make it look like it was fixed in a nitpicky patch. If you just want both eyes to be vanilla white/grey, that's fine, but if you want to mod them, only one eye will work... Both eyes can now be modded.
The Ghost Rider Saddle master file includes:
-burning eyes
- Black smoke is almost invisible, replaced by more obvious gray animated smoke.
Increase firepower
- Use fireflies instead of flies
-Devil's Saddle item can now be used as a light source.
- Customized Smoke textures and directories making this mod fully compatible with all versions of the (Chimney)Smoke mod
Ghost Rider Saddle DLC files (requires master file) include:
-Fire breath effect for cockroaches with ghost rider saddles
Video (Fire Breathing Disabled since I use Ice Breathing)
notes:
-Has nothing to do with Fela's harness, although I contacted her hoping she could fix the eye issue, I ended up fixing the eye issue myself.
-Only one screenshot shows Firefly as this is the final stage of development.
-The flame breath is out of sync with the actual horse breath
-Fire Breathing is not compatible with Ice Breathing mode as it gives the horse two breathing effects - normal steam and fire***
-The Real Devil's Saddle Eye fix is only a standalone fix and cannot be used with the main file or DLC.
***Possibly fixed/compatible with scripts
illustrate:
-Download the main file and extract the contents into the mods folder
-Alternatively, download the DLC file and extract the contents into the DLC folder
-Type additem("Devil's Saddle") in the console to get the item, or get the item from the Mirror Man when making a selection.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
