About this mod Machine translation
Fix annoying neck clipping caused by neck transition texture file loading error.
What this mod does:
This mod changes the player character texture file: h_mg__neck_transition.w2mesh by making it always load invisible. This allows the character's head and body files to still line up correctly, but no more clipping issues. The mesh is still the correct size for loading Geralt's wide neck, but now it is invisible, so it does not show up when using Geralt Doppler to load a smaller character's thin neck.
This mod changes the mesh files in the vanilla base game and does not change anything in the Geralt Doppler mod, so it should fix all neck clipping issues if neck clipping is found in the vanilla base game or any other mods besides Geralt Doppler. However, I only checked it with Geralt Doppler's neck clipping bug, so can't confirm that it fixes neck clipping elsewhere,
compatibility:
I'm using GoG GoTY 1.32, but the previous job was 1.31; I haven't tested it on Steam or other versions, but it should work on all of them since it changes the mesh file and not the script file.
Available for Stone of the Heart and Blood & Wine dlcs. The before and after images are screenshots taken in the quarry during the Bovine Blues mission in the quarry.
It only changes h_mg__neck_transition.w2mesh, so should be compatible with most other texture mods and all script mods. I use this for my Avallac'h game stream on Twitch and this is the one I use with 324 mods at a time and this mod does not conflict with any of those mods.
A list of all 324 mods I've used here can be found here, along with dozens of screenshots of the mods used together, along with instructions on how I bypassed the so-called "10 mod limit" to run 78 script mods and 200+ texture/blob0bundle mods at once.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
