Gamepad control button preset 1.31

The controller installation setup is inspired by the latest W3 version of the Gamepad Plus update.

This module cannot be installed with NMM, so please read the installation instructions carefully!

An anti-micro config file and input.settings file (IMO) greatly improved the game. I'm making this from scratch, taking inspiration (and much of the layout) from Bandu's Gamepad Plus, since it's outdated and has a few bugs. This is compatible with the latest version of tw3 (1.31/1.30, goty or other versions) and the latest version of antimicro (2.22).

The mod is compatible with friendly HUD, autostart, book panel key bindings and immersive cam (includes alternate horse control optional files, they can be installed independently from each other btw). None of these models require it (at least in theory, since I haven't tested it yet), but I highly recommend them, at least, just to fhud.

Install

• Install AntiMicro 2.22. 2.22 is the latest version as of this writing, but I don't know if future versions will work as expected. Regardless of whether you get the installation package or the portable version, the installer is more convenient for most people.
• Navigate to "documents\the switcher 3" and replace "input.settings" with the settings from "my mod". If changes were made to the original file, I recommend you back it up. I also recommend that you keep "input.settings" as "read-only" to avoid the game making unnecessary changes to it.

three. Disable "Key Repeat" from the General section of AntiMicro settings.

• Run antimicro in administrator mode and load "w3-zhior preset.gamecontroller.amgp"
• Navigate to [W3 installation directory]\bin\config\base, open hidden.ini and change "lockcontrolScheme=0" to lockcontrolScheme=2.

keyboard keys

Because the gamepad has access to a smaller number of buttons compared to kb+m, I can only use a few hotkeys via the keyboard. All of these are unnecessary, but you can use them if you want.

Toggle HUD keys (Home)

All keys to operate the camera from the immersive camera (down, up, up, left, down, right, end).

Task marker toggle (F2), user marker toggle (F3) and refill potion toggle from friendly HUD (F4).

Input module key from fhud (right shift).

fhud's use items keys (1-0, -, =). Same as using DPAD and right clicking from the controller.

Radial menu buff display for fhud (f1, f2, f3, f4). Use the left trigger or Y/Triangle button to cycle through them on the game board.

Known issues

When launching the game and loading the save file, make sure to skip the video using a controller (using the x/square button) rather than the keyboard, otherwise the game will not properly lock the controller's control scheme. This is a game issue that unfortunately can't be resolved from my end.

Changle Pavilion

Move the radius loot to the left thumbstick and the YRDEN logo to the pound button. If you want to switch back to the GWENT panel, you can, but you have to delete the shortcut to the GWENT panel, or delete the shortcut to switch Ma Heilu and move the shortcut to the GWENT panel there.

You can still use any of these functions with the keyboard (H for Gwent Panel, Left Ctrl for Toggle Horse Follow Road).
