Extended wheel configuration

A mod that allows you to assign many actions to the scroll wheel.

Use the scroll wheel for things like switching signs, drawing and sheathing your sword, and using consumables.

There is also a doubling modifier, and there are 2 sets of 4 actions for the scroll wheel.

Reverse Wheel - Change steering wheel.

Modifier keys that allow you to double the movement of the scroll wheel.

Assign operations to:

up

scroll down

Scroll Scroll up while pressing the modifier key.

Scroll down and press the modifier key.

Smooth Sword Scrolling - This option allows you to scroll both swords naturally.

Options:

0 - None

1 - next flag

2 - Previous flag

3 - Drawing the Steel Sword

4 - Drawing the Siler Sword

5 - Sheathed Steel Sword

6 - Sheathed Silver Sword

7 - Consumable slot 1

8 - Consumable slot 2

9 - Consumable slot 3

10 - Consumable slot 4

Wheel Tolerance - How fast the wheel needs to spin for the game to register input.

Install

Copy modWheelConfig to your mods folder.

Copy the bin folder into the W3 directory.

When first launching the game navigate to your keybinding options and set the wheel options to mouse wheel and modifier keys, whichever key you want, I personally use shift but you can use alt ot ctrl or even the mouse buttons.

Use "Invert Wheel" to make sure the scroll wheel is set to scroll up triggering a scroll up action and vice versa.

Choose an action for scrolling up and down - choose one of 10 options.

Scroll up or down will trigger the action you set without holding the modifier key.

While holding down the modifier key, the game will trigger the action you set under Scroll Up/Down After Modification.

Smooth sword scrolling will allow you to sheath the same sword for the same move instead of drawing another one.

So if you scroll up to draw your steel sword, scrolling up will also draw your silver sword.

The threshold determines how fast the wheel needs to spin for the input to register, with higher numbers requiring faster spins.

Scroll up to attract your steel sword and scroll down to attract your silver sword.

When the smooth sword scroll opens, scroll up to sheathe your silver sword and scroll down to sheathe your steel sword.

When the modifier key is pressed (shift in my case), the option to modify scrolling is used.

So scrolling in this case will switch between symbols, using a modified threshold.
