Added Witch Hunter Hats for sale in the game store
Replaces the Bird Mask with a wearable/equipped version of the Witch Hunter's Hat.
Multiple colors available, but only one can be installed at a time! To install the mod, extract the modwitchhunterhat folder from the archive into the "mods" folder. How to get/use hats in the game? Buy a Bird Mask from the Elf Tailor in Novigrad (see map in the gallery), switch to the Quest Items panel, and double-click on the Bird Mask to equip the hat. To remove the hat, double-click on the bird mask in Geralt's pocket. To remove the mod, delete the modwitchhunterhat folder.
Note: Best suited for hairstyles close to Geralt's head (i.e. "ponytail shave", "side shave, short top, ponytail"). Other hairstyles have strands of hair that pass through the hat and require a huge hat to cover them. Additionally, the hat does not get wet (the CDPR mask is light, so there is no "wet" state... since the hat replaces a mask, and the hat must be dark/cloth-like, it also does not get wet.) will conflict with any other mod that replaces the bird mask.
Other patterns of hair/beards/eyes used in the screenshots can be found here…
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
