Install
I recommend using the Witcher 3 mod manager to install your mods. It will automatically install the MOD and its MOD menu for you.
If you prefer to install manually, copy the "modEnemyScalingOverhaul" folder to the "Mods" folder in the Witcher 3 installation directory. Then copy the "bin" folder from inside the "modEnemyScalingOverhaul" folder and paste it into the Witcher 3 installation directory.
If you are using the Mod Manager, you still have to copy the "bin" folder from inside the "modEnemyScalingOverhaul" folder, otherwise you won't have the in-game menu.
Warning: If you run the script compiler at the start of the game, you will need to exit the game after reaching the main menu and restarting. There is a bug in the vanilla game where if you load a save after the script compiler is running, it can give you 1 potion, bomb, and oil. This is a vanilla bug and it can happen anytime you add, remove or update any mods.
To uninstall, delete the "MODUBYYSCALIN MANAGEMENT" folder from the "MODS" folder. Then delete "modEnemyScalingOverhaul.xml" from the "Witcher 3 Wild Huntbinconfigr4.user_config_.\pc" folder.

How to use:
After downloading and unzipping:
- Download files
- Unzip the file into the mods folder
- Run the game
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
