Optional mod "Upgraded Starting Viper Gear": Optional mod "Upgraded Starting Viper Gear":

Makes the Warrior's Leather Jacket and Viper Swords scale up to the player's level when crafted as they felt useless/a dead end by the time you unlocked master craftsmen, gives them their NG+ stats(and proportionally enhances their NG+ versions) aligned with FCR3 witcher gear stat changes. Also adds schematics for witcher versions of the starting Boots/Pants/Gloves to go with the Kaer Morhen/Warrior Leather Jacket piece, the stats are based on their Blood&Wine-only versions. You can dismantle these high level armor pieces to obtain the starting armor pieces in order to be able to recraft them into an even better version at a higher player level or in NG+. A script automatically adds the extra schematics to Geralt. Attributes (and proportionally enhanced to their NG+ versions) are consistent with changes to FCR3 wizard gear attributes. Also added charts for wizard versions of starting boots/pants/gloves with kale morhen/warrior leather jacket pieces, stats are based on their blood and wine only versions. You can dismantle these higher level armor fragments to get starting armor fragments to be able to reacquire better versions at higher player levels or in NG+. A script automatically adds additional charts to Geralt

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
