About this mod Machine translation
Cinema HDR makes "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt" look even more cinematic. Some effects including HDR, AO, DOF and film grain.
This is the stable version of the Cinema HDR ReShade preset. Effects include but are not limited to HDR, DoF, FXAA, Bloom, Ambient Occlusion and Film Grain. As always if you see any bugs please report them and if it looks weird on your screen and you are 100% sure it has been calibrated correctly then please let me know as soon as possible. I will still work on improving this mod and optimizing it in terms of performance without quality loss. See below for a list of mods that I consider essential and recommended mods.
Update 2.6:
Bug fix: Adjusted AO, which caused the outline around the witcher, is now a reduction. Vingette shouldn't be that powerful now.
Adjust shadows, midtones and highlights. Some changes to the color vibe (let me know what you think)
Update 2.5:
Fixed an issue in Skellige where high in the mountains, the bright sun would make Geralt really, and I mean really dark.
Slightly optimized performance
Remove ambient light as it causes some serious problems
Install:
Installed ReShade version '1.1.0.962' and overwritten the ReShade folder in the Witcher bin/x64 folder with my preset contents (unzip it first). If you are experiencing long loading times, this is because ReShade64.dll has been renamed to d3d11.dll. Rename it to d3d9.dll and verify your game installation. I will do detailed instructions soon.
Recommended settings for the game, as most of them are included in the presets:
Anti-aliasing turned off
bloom close
DoF close
Sharpen off
Be prepared to lose about 20fps. I'm optimizing and considering moving to ReShade 2.0
The test bench is: i7 5820K, GTX 1070, 16 GB DDR4
Essential mods in my opinion:
Atmospheric Night - www..com/witcher3/mods/1305/? - If you use this mod I recommend setting the dark level to 32-35

High quality faces - www..com/witcher3/mods/1024/?
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
