Content introduction:

Changed some brick and roof textures to those used in the Witcher 2 game.

I was asked to post this, so here it is. I just took the W2 textures from Redkit and swapped them. I just like the overall look of the Witcher 2 better.

I haven't tested it at all, so there might be some weird glitch somewhere. So be it.

Also, I strongly recommend you to use Lod Mod, otherwise the changes between high lods and low lods - proxy mesh with this retexture will be very noticeable, so yes, use it. If you don't mind swapping textures when getting close, you don't have to use it. But let me tell you, it is truly a sore for the eyes. At least in lod mods, there's a lot of swapping required.

If you use any big retexture mod (like HDRW) please give my mod priority or you won't see my textures.

Install:

  • Download the compressed package
  • Unzip the file
  • Copy the files to the MODS folder
  • Run the game

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
  3. Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.

Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
