About this mod Machine translation
ReShade is based on a grittier cinematic look rather than realism. High temperature and low cooling.
Uploading a video of me remasking myself as I use it in the game. It's less based on realism and more of a cinematic look, with a toned down tone but enhanced reds that really bring out some of the details in the world. It's not perfect but you might like it.
advantage -
General balanced lighting.
- A different look than vanilla without going overboard.
-Grittier fits into the Witcherverse.
- The war colors that really help make those sunrises... POP.
- Will be updated regularly since I've been using it. (includes multiple versions)
shortcoming
- Very bright at night, but not unbelievably bright, just more than vanilla.
- More jobs and effects are available.
Install
You will need the latest version of ReShade Framework available from their website.
Once installed, just drag and drop the file into your game folder, which contains "witcher3.exe".
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
