About this mod Machine translation
It was once DLC, but it was never completed, so a release was possible. Still, you can now give Yennefer a new look with this modification.
This was once iterated upon as a standalone DLC, but since I didn't finish it, and because most people prefer "Witcher 3" content in mod form, I simply threw together all the assets ready for release.
This modification brings you a variety of new and reorganized costumes for Yan Fei. It changes her travel outfit (including the hooded version) and outfits. Also, she now has a different hairstyle.
Please note that although her hair color is a bit dark brown at the moment, due to some issues with the hair mesh, a black recolor is not possible at this time. I might do that some time in the future.
If you don't like the hair color, just select one of the many hairs to recolor and give this mod a higher priority, so mine (and therefore my hairstyle) is covered.
A separate optional hair recolor module is now available for Yennefer. It gives her a unique yin-yang charm. Take a look at these photos and get a better idea. It can be used either independently or with a main file containing the new Yennefer skin, as long as it remains high in the load order (it has been named accordingly). You can now start your own white-haired wizard family with Gerald, Jennifer and Ciri! ;)
Install
Place your downloaded content into the MODS folder in your Witcher 3 directory or use NNM download.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
