Add Armor Glyph

This mod adds an armor glyph effect to the game that increases your armor rating.

Overview

This model is designed to add a unique feature to the game without overpowering your character. The mod replaces the original yrdev glyph effect with an armor bonus effect. Originally, this mod was developed with tw3's game version 1.05 and should be used with the current game version 1.05. Please follow all instructions in the readme.txt file to minimize any errors that may occur during the installation or uninstallation of game 1.02 or higher.

compatibility

As long as the "def_item_upgrades.txt" file does not change in any future software updates, this mod should be compatible with game version 1.05. For example, add, modify or delete any rune or glyph type.

conflict

This mod will conflict with any other mod that modifies the "def_item_upgrades.xml" file in patch.bundle, which can be found in the "witcher 3 wild hunt install directory\content\patch0\bundles" directory. This mod will conflict with my other mod, Instant Kill Rune. If you want to use Added Armor mode in Instant Kill Rune mode, please download the optional file.

Note: Please follow the installation instructions to add this mod to your game without overwriting any currently installed mods using patch.bundle files.

Installation steps

getting Started

• Download the mod file.
• Navigate to the "witcher 3 wild hunt install directory\content\patch0\bundles" directory.

three. Back up the original "patch.bundle" file.

• Unzip the downloaded mod to the current directory "witcher 3 wild hunt install directory\content\patch0\bundles".
• Double-click the "customGlyphMod.bat" file to run it (note: you may need to run as administrator).
• Let quickbms work its magic and press Enter when finished.
• Start the game and enjoy.

Uninstall steps

getting Started

• Navigate to the "witcher 3 wild hunt install directory\content\patch0\bundles" directory.
• Unzip the downloaded mod to the current directory "witcher 3 wild hunt install directory\content\patch0\bundles".

three. Double-click the "uninstall_customGlyphMod.bat" file to run it (note: you may need to run as administrator).

• Let quickbms work its magic and press Enter when finished.
• Start the game and enjoy.
