EDIT: Uploaded version 2 (hopefully more compatible with other versions)
Fan lore: "In his quest to free the Devil Gene from this world, Heihachi travels to some of the most remote areas known to man, immersing himself in the mythology of foreign cultures that can reveal this ancient power. Believing that Kazuya's control of the Devil Gene is a greater threat to Jin, Heihachi tirelessly seeks to discover a viable solution to the threat that the Devil Gene's power gives Kazuya. If it is not possible to destroy Kazuya (and therefore the Devil) Gene) Could a physical solution, or perhaps a spiritual solution, work?
It was once believed that this temple was one of the many houses belonging to the revered god Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the lord of learning. If the main obstacle in Heihachi's life is the presence of the devil's gene (a curse that could easily destroy the world if left unchecked), surely Ganesha could easily provide the vital wisdom needed to remove this obstacle from the world.
To Heihachi's dismay, however, his worst fears have been realized; upon entering the temple, hints of the Devil's Gene's signature can be felt in the unnatural blue flames igniting on the ground, suggesting that any answers he hoped to find have long been lost to the Devil's Gene's infection. Heihachi learned only one thing from this journey: This is no longer Ganesha's kingdom.
NOTE: There are two versions of this file.
The "Lighter Shadow" version includes a dark skybox and lighter shadows on the destructible floor (so it's easier to see opponents wearing black clothing).
The "Natural Dark" version (the one I personally used in the preview screenshots) contains the sky but has more realistic shadows/lighting on the breakable floor (the character lighting will blend in with the stage better), but it may or may not make it harder to fight opponents using black costumes depending on your monitor.
A preview image has been provided to show you the differences.
Installation instructions are in the readme file.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
