About this mod Author’s original text

Enhanced Workbenches

Turn the workbench into a self-running bundling station — attach storage, queue batches, price with one click. This package serves as the Mirror, the most up to date will always be the as linked above.

What it Does

The vanilla workbench makes one bundle at a time and drops it in your hands. This mod lets the bench run like a small production line: attach a Warehouse Shelf and an Empty Box Storage to it, set how many bundles you want, and walk away. Finished bundles are packed straight into a box, full boxes are dispensed the next empty box is prepared automatically.

Features

Attach Storage to your workbench

Carry a boxed Warehouse Shelf or Empty Box Storage near a workbench and open the box as usual — if it's in range, it attaches to that bench. An animated chevron guide line shows the link while you place: green means in range, red means too far. Up to 2 box storage per bench. Move the furniture to detach it again.

Automated bundling loop

With a box storage attached, the bench keeps a packaging box docked next to it. Everything youat box — no more hand-offs. When the box is full it closes, its contents are restocked onto anattached shelf, and the next empty box is pulled from storage automatically.

Batch production slider

A new Number of Boxes slider (1–200) in the bundling screen. Set it higher than 1 and the bench automatically starts the next bundle each time one finishes.

One-click pricing

Quick-set buttons in the bundling screen instantly set the price minimum and limit to match thb], Yellow, Pink, Red and Green — for both Tetramon and Destiny. All ranges are configurable. Fully navigable with a controller.

Buy empty boxes on the spot

Look at a bench with box storage attached and press B (rebindable) to buy an empty box ult, configurable).

Faster Animations

An optional animation speed multiplier (1x–10x) for the card-boxing animations.

Modded expansion support (optional)

If you have the EPL API (from Enhanced Prefab Loader) installed, the quick-set price buttons are also generated for custom card expansions added by other mods — one bth price ranges derived from the box's own prices.

This is entirely optional. Without it, everything above still works; modded expansions simply fall back to the default button set. If your EPL API is older than 6.0.1, its integration is disabled with a warning in the log (the rest of the mod is unaffected) — update the API mod to fix that.

Configuration

Everything is configurable via BepInEx/config/EnhancedWorkbenches.cfg (or live in-game with ConfigurationManager): attach distance and shelf limit, empty box cost and hotkey, all ten quick-set price ranges, slider position/scale, animation speed, and the attach guide line toggle. Changes apply immediately.

Good to know

  • Attachments and box contents are saved per save slot in the mod's own JSON files (inolder under EnhancedWorkbench) — your vanilla save file is never touched.
  • Because of that, uninstalling is safe: remove the dll and everything reverts to plain vanilla furniture. Leftover JSON files are harmless and can be deleted.
  • Attaching uses the game's normal Open Box action — no extra keybind to learn, works on gamepad.
  • Co-op is untested — the mod has no multiplayer synchronization, so use it in co-op at your own risk.

Installation

  • Install BepInEx 5 if you haven't already.
  • Extract the zip into your BepInEx folder, so the dll ends up at BepInEx/plugins/EnhancedWorkbench
  • Optional: install the EPL API for modded expansion pricing buttons.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
