About this mod Machine translation
Luxurious paradise base
Luxurious base, decorated laboratory, restaurant, tower, cave, two artificial islands and huge gardening facilities! Save files in survival mode.
This base is designed for those who want to get started quickly with a luxurious safe shoal base at the start of survival mode. It combines convenience with pleasing home aesthetics.
Since this base was made in a survival mode save file, the story can still be played to completion. However, please note that it contains spoilers, so if you haven't played Story Mode yet, you may want to wait to use this save file.
Things you might want to avoid if you haven't played the story yet (no spoilers in this list):
Every plant species in the game.
Every herbivore in the game except for three sizable ones is unfit for an alien containment unit.
Images of Subnautica concept art contain biome spoilers and endgame spoilers.
All the tools in the game are already mastered.
All blueprints obtained.
Includes uncustomized cyclops, seamoth and shrimp sets.
Spoiler (highlight this line): The story currently takes place after the explosion of Aurora, but before the first radio message is listened to. Other instructions:
Depending on your system, this base may cause some FPS lag issues. On my custom AMD system I can get anywhere from 16 to 80 FPS. If you encounter these issues, try pressing F3, then F8, and then set the texture quality to 3. This information may also be helpful.
The safe shoal cave around the base is well-lit thanks to the lights I placed, but don't be surprised if some... unpleasant inhabitants are still inside. If you've played Subnautica, you'll know what I'm referencing, but if you haven't, all I can say is a health pack or two!

This save requires some mods to work properly:
QModManager
SML Assistant (Modding Assistant)
base clock
external plant pot
Decoration Mod
I also recommend using these mods to improve the experience, although they are not required:
Radial labels (avoids some manufacturer items appearing off-screen)
Cheat Manager (Easier customization if you prefer to use console commands)
Custom Storage (Makes lockers and personal storage easier - highly recommended)
More Quick Slots (Allows you to use the provided tools more easily)
----------
To add this save file to your game:
1: Download it to a normal download folder.
2: Extract the save file to:
On Steam for Windows 10 PC, go to your files, then \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Subnautica\SNAppData\SavedGames.
On the Epic Games Launcher for Windows 10 PC, then C:\Users{username}\AppData\LocalLow\Unknown Worlds\Subnautica\Subnautica\SavedGames.
On a Mac, go to ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Subnautica/SNAppData/SavedGames/.
3: Rename it to have a different last digit, slot000 #, where # is the only unused digit.
4: When loading a save file, you start with the lifecycle, facing Aurora.

You can add your own pictures by adding them to the screenshots folder in the save file. They should be 16:9 aspect ratio to work properly.
Subnautica is the creation and property of Unknown Worlds.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
