Biodisplay
Provides an upgrade to the Compass item in the workbench. This item will notify you as soon as you enter a new biome into the game.
This mod adds an upgraded compass item to the workbench. Once the build is complete, you can equip it in the inventory screen. When you enter a new biome, it will appear as a small message on the screen so you know where you are.

2.0.0
- 2.0.0 is here!
- Added configuration options
- Updated and moved HUD elements
- Add animated elements
- Special thanks to Kylinator for the animation inspiration!
- Project ID is BiomeHUDIndicator
Require:
- QModManger 2.0
- SMLHelper（Modding Helper）
Known issues:
- Does not work with SubnauticaMap mod. The direction you are facing is not shown. This cannot be fixed from my purposes. That mod author must update their mod.
- (2019-05-06) In very specific cases, the display position of the HUD element may be interrupted and it will be located behind the health display and unable to be displayed in the middle of the screen. This is ongoing.
Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- There is no universal mod manager for this game: some mods replace game files directly, some go into a game-specific Mods folder, and some need a game-specific community loader or tool first — follow the bundled readme.
- Place the files exactly as the readme says; mods with listed dependencies need those installed too.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; some games require enabling mods in settings or an in-game mod menu.
Install locations vary a lot between games and mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
