  • QModManager 4 - Minimum 4.1.4
  • SMLHelper Zero - Minimum 2.9.7
  • VersionChecker - A version checking utility for Subnautica Below Zero mods - Minimum 1.3.1.1 (OPTIONAL)

DAATQS - Disables the Auto adding of items to the Quickslots.(Below Zero Version)

Only you choose what Item you want in the Quickslotbar.

You can use your own custom list of Item/Techtypes that should be Auto added.

Installation:

Install QModmanager

Optional: Install Version Checker

Extract this mod to the QMods Folder in the Game installfolder

There is a predelivered List of Allowed Items. May take a look if you like it or enable/disable the list in the Mod Settings

Options:

The Mod add a Ingame Menu under Settings->Mods where you cann enable or disable the mod live if you wish.

Also there is a switch to enable or disable your Custom List live while you are ingame.

So for example it is possible to disable your list temporary while you transfer your stuff between lockers.

Adding your Own Techtype to the Mods:

If not already done. Start and Close the Game at least once after mod installation. The "AllowList.json" will be created and filled with a small example List.

For the any future Changes in the list close the Game. (It will also work live but i do not recommen that)

Go to the "AllowList.json" in the Modfolder.

Open it with a text editor.

Add your own Techtypes to the List (see:

Save

Example for the Allow List:

{

"TechType": ["builder","Knife"]

}

Know Bugs:

Items get rearranged after Safegame reload. When a Quickslot is not filed.

->Sadly a Vanilla Bug.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions

  1. Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
  2. Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
  3. For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
  4. Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.

Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
