Minimal Viewmodels Reborn
This is a remake of the original Minimal Viewmodels mod, updated with many new features and bugfixes.
(thanks to malco for creating the original!)
Features
Features that were in the original:
- Customisable viewmodel FOV and offset
- An option to completely hide your viewmodel
Extra features in this version:
- The mod now works on low and medium graphics settings
- Several bugfixes, including placing holograms being offset and bullet tracers not coming from the right place
- Options to:
- Hide your arms
- Mirror your viewmodel
- Customise the strength of the sway and bob animations of your viewmodel
- Customise the FOV increase when sprinting/sliding
- Customise the size of muzzle flashes
- The mod's options now update properly at runtime when modified, meaning you can use mods such as Mod Menu
to adjust options and see them update ingame immediately (which I highly recommend trying!)
Usage
All customisation options are available in the mod's config file. For more details on each option check its
description~ as always, you can find me on the straftat discord @sneaky_kestrel if you need any more help.
Manual Installation Instructions
_(you should probably just use a mod manager like gale or r2modman though)_
- Download and install Bepinex 5.4.23.5 (installation guide here)
(if you have no idea what the versions mean try BepInEx_win_x64_5.4.23.5 and it might work. maybe)
- Once BepInEx is installed, extract the zip into the BepInEx/plugins folder in the game's root directory.

Install & use Install: follow the bundled instructions
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and read the bundled readme / instructions first.
- Most mods rely on the game's mod loader — the usual route is a community mod manager (such as r2modman): pick this game, install, and it handles the loader and dependencies.
- For a manual install, put the mod files into the matching Mod / plugins folder inside the game directory.
- Launch the game to confirm it loaded; mods with listed dependencies need those installed as well.
Install locations vary a lot between mods — the bundled readme is the most reliable guide.
Install these first, or the mod will not work:
