Installation steps
- Install SMAPI and common module configuration menu

Configuration Settings
You can access all settings via the gear icon on the title screen before starting a game, or by pressing the hotkey in the Universal Mod Configuration menu while in game, or by clicking on the speaker icon in the upper left corner. Here you can select your microphone, speakers, and preferred voice activation mode.
How to speak
- **Voice Activation Mode**: Just start talking
- **Key to Speak Mode**: Press and hold the assigned key (default: V) to speak
Distance adjustment
Press the 'Cycle Distance' key (default: Z) to toggle between the three hearing distances
⚙️ Configuration options
- **Input Mode**: Choose between `Voice Activation` and `Key to Speak`
- **Playback Volume**: Master volume slider for all incoming voice chats
- **Push to Speak**: Set the preferred button for PTT mode
- **Cycle Distance Key**: Set the preferred button for changing hearing distance
- **Noise Suppression**: Toggle RNNoise background noise filter
- **Voice Activation Sensitivity**: Adjust how loud it needs to be to transmit speech in voice activation mode
- **Input/Output Devices**: Select specific microphones and speakers/headphones from the list of available devices

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
