Vegas Item Compatibility Patch

🎯 Module Introduction

After the recent Stardew Valley Expansion (SVE) 1.15 update introduced new items, Cornucopia - More Crops has quickly released several compatibility updates that allow mod items with conflicting names to be used together. However, these updates often resolve conflicts by removing duplicate items, which can cause issues with some bundles, other mods, or recipes that require specific items.

Inspired by the Cornucopia - More Flowers mod, this mod renames the Rafflesia flowers added by both mods to different varieties, allowing them to coexist as different varieties of the same flower. This mod uses the same solution for conflicting items between SVE, Cornucopia series mods, and Wildflour's Atelier Goods.

✨ Core Functions

**🔄 Smart renaming system**

  • All items from all mods remain in the game and can be farmed, sold, added to bundles, cooked, given away, etc. as normal
  • Only update the display names of conflicting items to eliminate conflicts between items with the same name
  • Renaming applies to the fruit/vegetable/artifact itself, the seeds/saplings, and any recipes using these ingredients

**⚙️ Machine Rule Compatibility**

  • Added machine rules compatibility to make these mods work better together
  • For example: SVE cucumbers can be used in pickling jars to make Cornucopia pickled cucumber strips

**🎨 Creative naming scheme**

  • Try to rename items in a way that is fun, interesting, realistic, or appropriate to the context of the game
  • Match actual fruit/vegetable varieties with real-world counterparts, consistent with their images, descriptions and harvest seasons
  • Refer to the game background and existing descriptions

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
