About this mod Machine translation
This mod edits vanilla cooking and crafting recipes to make them vegetarian. It also allows players to craft all artisan goods without animal ingredients, adding truffles and duck feathers as fodder.
Edit vanilla cooking and crafting recipes to make them vegetarian. Fish, bones and monster loot are replaced with vegetarian alternatives.
Add some vegan milk and a vegan egg replacer. Recipes calling for milk or eggs have been edited to allow substitutions. Milk is made in an oil press from hazelnuts, coconut or rice, and the egg substitute Nix-Egg can be purchased from Pierre.
After you reach foraging level 10, add truffles, duck feathers, and rabbit's feet/four-leaf clovers (I recommend downloading a mod that edits them into something less scary) as fodder. Rabbit's feet (or whatever you use to replace them) lay eggs in forests and secret forests during the spring and summer. Truffles lay their eggs in the fall and winter at the same location. Ducklings lay their eggs on the beach year-round. They don't spawn every day, so you may need to play for a few days before you see them.
Lets you create animal-derived crafts using vegan ingredients. The description was adjusted to reflect its new vegan nature, but I didn't edit the sprite.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
