Futaba Sakura - Sebastian Replacement Mod
🎭 Module function
This mod replaces the computer nerd Sebastian in Stardew Valley with the cooler computer nerd in Persona 5 - Futaba Sumire! ✨
**Specific changes include:**
- 🖼️ Brand new character drawings and portraits
- 📝 Character name replacement
- 💬 A large number of dialogue modifications involving Sebastian’s name
🎯 Why choose Sebastian?
Futaba Sumire and Sebastian have many similarities - they are both introverted, socially avoidant computer nerds. However, Futaba Sumire doesn't smoke, so this habit is changed to eating candy in the mod. 🍬
⚙️ Installation requirements
- Content Patcher V1.10.0 or higher
- SMAPI 2.11.0 or higher
📥 Installation Guide
- First install ContentPatcher
- Download this module and extract it to the StardewValley/mods folder
🎨 Source
- Character illustrations are drawn by the author himself with reference to Google images
- Portrait made by editing resources from spriters-resource
---
🔧 Compatibility Notes
As a ContentPatcher-based mod, this mod is compatible with other mods that don't edit the same resources. Possible conflict situations include:
- Modify the portrait or portrait of Sebastian
- A module that modifies Sebastian-related dialogue
When two mods try to replace the same image resource, ContentPatcher will not load anything by default.
⚠️ Known issues
- 🌸 In the Flower Dance Festival, abnormal visual effects will appear when female characters choose to dance with her (male characters will be normal)
- 💕 On the first day of dating, the relationship status will be displayed as "boyfriend", and will be corrected to "girlfriend" on the second day.
- 💒 Modifying NPC gender settings will affect the display of wedding portraits. We are still looking for a solution.

Enjoy your adventure in Stardew Valley with Sumire Futaba! 🌟
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
