About this mod Machine translation
Changed the name of yams in the game to sweet potatoes.
yams become sweet potatoes
🎮 **A simple but personal name modification module**
✨ Module function
This module changes the names of all "Yam" related items in the game to "Sweet Potato", including:
-Yam crops
-Yam seeds
- Honey yam
- Recipes from the TV show "Sauce Queen"
- Contents of Penny's secret notes
🌱Create Stories
The author harvested the first batch of sweet potatoes in his small garden. To celebrate this wonderful moment and satisfy his personal preference (I love sweet potatoes more than yams!), I specially created this simple and practical module.
⚠️ Compatibility Notes
There are soft conflicts with the following mods:
- Cornucopia
- Stardew Valley Expanded Edition (SVE)
- Other mods that add sweet potatoes as a new crop
💡 **The conflict will not cause the game to crash**, but two different varieties of sweet potatoes will appear - if you like more sweet potatoes, this may be good news!

*Make the farmland in Stardew Valley more in line with your taste bud preferences and enjoy the fun of growing sweet potatoes! *
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
