Transparent cultivated soil
🌱 **Make your Stardew Valley farm more beautiful! **
✨ Main functions
Make the farmland soil transparent so you can see the map texture underneath the crops. If you have a grass farm but farming it destroys the grass, this mod allows you to still see the map tiles underneath the crops.
🎨 Visual effects
- Mod will make map tiles slightly darker but still remain transparent
- You will still be able to tell if a tile has been tilled or watered
- Perfect for use on grass farms
⚙️ Configuration options (from version 1.1.0)
It is recommended to use GMCM for configuration:
Location settings

- **OUTDOOR ONLY**: Enables transparency effect only in outdoor locations
- **Indoor only**: Enable transparency effect only in indoor locations
- **Custom Location**: Use the *LocationName* or *LocationUniqueName* of the location to define the location where you want to enable transparency. Multiple locations are separated by commas.
💡 **NOTE**: All Locations, Outdoor Only and Indoor Only configurations cannot be enabled at the same time and can only be applied one at a time

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
