This mod lets you purchase tractors (and tractor garages) to more efficiently handle crops, clear branches and rocks, etc:

For non-English speaking players, translations are included in the base mod. Contributions are welcome!

Install the latest version of SMAPI.

Download this mod and unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.

Use SMAPI to run the game.

Buy a tractor garage (including tractor) from Robin and wait until she finishes building it. Then just get on the tractor, select your tools or seeds or fertilizer, and drive off. You can also press the backspace key (configurable) to summon the tractor to your current location.

By default, these tool features are enabled:

Ax clears branches/weeds/dead crops.

Fertilizer fertilizes crops and trees.

Grass starter grows grass.

Use the hoe to till the dirt, dig up artifact spots, and clear weeds.

Melee weapons clear dead crops and break mine containers.

Milk bucket collects milk from farm animals.

Pickaxes break rocks and clear weeds/dead crops/ploughed dirt.

The scythe harvests crops/shrubs/flowers/forage/fruit trees/long grass and removes weeds/dead crops.

Seeds sow seeds in the soil.

Watering can irrigate crops.

These features are disabled by default (you can enable each feature by editing config.json):

The ax can cut down shrubs and trees and remove live crops.

Melee weapons can attack monsters. This is overwhelming and not recommended if you want a balanced playthrough.

Pickaxes can break floors/paths, and break placed objects.

The sickle can collect machine output.

The slingshot fires one projectile/square/second in the aiming direction (default is nine projectiles per second). This is massive power, but consumes ammo at a greedy rate.

You can choose to change how the mod works:

Changed tractor textures (including seasonal textures);

Edit mod settings to change controller/keyboard/mouse mapping, effect area, tractor speed, custom tools, tractor cost, and more;

Once the universal mod configuration menu is installed, you can also configure it via the buttons on the title screen (see example screenshot).

Stardew Valley 1.5.5 or higher;

Linux, macOS and Windows;

Single player and multiplayer games. In multiplayer mode, it must be installed by the main player and any farm workers who want to use the tractor functionality. Farm workers who don't have it installed won't have any problems, they just won't be able to see the tractor texture or use its features.

tractor engine sound;

tractor modifications;

Go through the trellis.

Mod conflict:

Farm Expansion or Stardew Realty: Compatible, but does not build garages in the expansion area. You can use the tractor there, but be sure not to leave it there overnight.

Harvesting with the Scythe Mod: Various scythe bugs are caused when using a tractor (e.g. breaking placed objects, not harvesting forage, etc.). If you are harvesting with a tractor, you can remove this mod as it is not required for the tractor scythe.
