💡 Want some lighting on your farm but think the original torch is too ugly? I have the perfect solution for you!
This mod replaces the original craftable torch in the game.
✨ Current style
The following are the currently available styles. You can choose the desired color through the module configuration menu:
- **Candles** (8 colors: white, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black)
- **Oil Lamp** (3 colors: gold, silver, copper, purple)
- **Skull** (5 colors: white, black, red, purple, blue)
- **Torch** (2 colors: gold, silver)
⚠️ **IMPORTANT NOTE**: You **can only** use **one** style at a time. If you want a variety of different styles, consider downloading the alternative texture versions.
⚠️ Limitations and known issues
- Due to the way the game handles torches, these textures only change the base portion of the torch. If you have the flame replacement mod installed, the flame effect of the torch will also be affected
- This is a replacement mod that affects **all** torches, including naturally occurring ones (such as those in caves)

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
