The truth about museum collections revealed

🎭 **Add a reasonable plot explanation to the museum opening event**

Have you ever wondered why the museums in Stardew Valley are empty? This mod gives an answer that is both interesting and reasonable! Inspired by those quirky niche museums housed in little shacks along the interstate.

✨ Main functions

  • **Three collectible backstories**: Select different former collectible types in configuration options (affects dialogue content)
  • **Immersive story experience**: adds a logical background explanation to the museum opening event
  • **Relaxing and humorous style**: The module content is full of fun, making the game experience richer

⚙️ Configuration options

In the mod settings, you can choose from the following three types of ex-collectibles:

  • Choosing different background stories will affect the dialogue content at the opening of the museum
  • Each choice will bring a unique plot experience

🔧 Compatibility Notes

⚠️ **INCOMPATIBILITY ALERT**:

  • Not compatible with any mod that modifies the museum opening event
  • Currently only the museum opening event is modified, more content may be added in the future

🎮 Usage suggestions

Once installed, you can experience the brand new opening scene the next time you visit the museum! Recommended when starting a new game or if you haven't completed a museum donation yet for the best experience.

*Make the story of the museum in Stardew Valley more complete and interesting! * 🏛️✨

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
