✨ Module Introduction
This mod provides human portraits for the island merchants they deserve - Trader Portraits (TDIT). Her portrait was inspired by and designed to work with the Sialia sprite from Emyn's Diverse Ginger Island (EDGI).
It is highly recommended that you download and use the EDGI mod in the game to get the best experience! If you don't want to use EDGI, this module also provides sprite replacement options, allowing you to use other Ginger Island Overhaul modules or use it alone.

⚙️ Configuration options
Easily manage configurations using the common module configuration menu:
- **Two race options**: Melanesian (default) and Malaysian
- **Two hair color options**: blue (default) or brown
- **Dialogue Improvements**: Replaced Birds' pidgin English with better grammar (on by default)
- **Sprite Replacement**: Replaces the default Island Merchant Bird sprite with a copy of Emyn's original sprite
💡 *Note: The original EDGI sprite will not completely replace the bird sprite, the image will flash to show the bird feathers. If you want to use the original blue-haired sprite made by Emyn but without the bird feathers, make sure "Sprite Replacement" remains selected and the hair color is "Blue". *

- **Required**: They deserve it - Businessman Portrait (cannot work without it)
- **HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** Use with Emyn's Diverse Ginger Island (for immersion)
- **Not Compatible** with any other mods that modify island merchant portraits
- **Only supported** Stardew Valley 1.6 or higher

- Drag the "(TDIT) Island Trader Sialia Portrait" folder from the .zip file to your Mods folder
To uninstall, simply delete the "(TDIT) Island Trader Sialia Portrait" folder.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
