Task time limit

🎮 **Make your Stardew Valley task management more flexible! **

✨ Core Functions

By default, this mod will multiply the remaining days for new Daily Missions and Special Orders by 2. You can set a custom multiplier for each task type in the configuration.

📅 **Important Note:**

  • The multiplier only affects newly received tasks and special orders
  • For daily tasks, the "number of days remaining" is set when you accept the task
  • For special orders (including Mr. Qi's special orders), the "deadline" is set at the beginning of each week, regardless of when you accept it or whether you have unlocked the special order board

⚙️ Configuration options

You can customize this mod by editing the configuration file or using the general mod configuration menu.

🌟 **Special Settings:**

  • If you set the multiplier to zero or a negative number, the task will never expire
  • At the end of each day, the "number of days remaining" for daily tasks will not be reduced
  • The "due date" of special order tasks will be reset to the original value

💡 **Usage Suggestions:** Adjust the time multiplier according to your play style to make the mission system better serve your farm life!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
